So, I just thought that I would update with pictures since I really haven't added that many. Each day I have been working at a care center called Victory 4 All. (If you want to support them or check it out, go to www.victory4all.com). I thought it might be nice to give you some visuals of what a day in ministry looks like!!
Here is the classroom that I work in each day:
Here are the boys that are in my Grade R (Same as kindergarten) class!!
From left to right: Khuselo, Antonio, Zola, AJ, Brent, Ethan, and Keenen
And Here are my girls!!
Left to right: Chanelle, Sinofuyo, Asisipho, Imoghan, Ambrocia, Mihlali, Lauren, and Sinalo (Don't you love their supermodel poses?!)
Each day the schedule of the Aftercare goes something like this:
1. Kids arrive, play outisde
2. They eat!!
3. Activity: Usually some kind of craft
4: Play outside!!
5: Bible story, Cool drink and Snack
6. Say goodbye =]
It has been such a joy to just love on these kids. They are a handful, but each one is so unique... and they love to be loved, which is nice =]
Here is our walk home, visually:
(the Township--I think this is Tokyo Sexwale)
We pass them every day-- I only know the one furthest to the right--Kevin. We had the chance to become friends and each day we speak with them...
These are our friends at the shoe repair shop... although Terance was not there today. We have been talking and praying with Terance almost every day as we pass. The whole crew here is so nice!!
This is another part of the township.. I don't know if this section has a difinitive name. But this is what we pass everyday coming home from ministry. I hope you have a better picture of Jeffreys Bay and my ministry through this!!!
